AUSTIN – Baylor Scott & White has planned to break ground on a new hospital in first quarter 2018.
Known as the Austin Medical Center, it will be located on an 11-acre parcel of land located at 5251 W. Hwy. 290, formerly home to the Oak Hill Driving Range.
The 86,600-sf hospital is slated for a two-phase build out and will include 50 beds.
The hospital will offer a full range of services, including inpatient and outpatient care.
The site plan is still under review by the City of Austin.
It is estimated to open in early 2019 and will be the second Baylor Scott & White hospital in Travis County.
