A glimpse of what the redeveloped Uptown Park will look like.HOUSTON – Starting in 2018, South Carolina-based Edens Investment Trust will begin a multiphase renovation of the 168,626-sf Uptown Park retail space.

In the first phase of the redevelopment, front-facing facades of existing retailers will be modernized and simplified.

Towering live oaks will be transferred and transplanted into shade-scarce parts of Uptown Park.

Small kiosks and green gathering areas will be installed throughout the development to better connect the project's buildings to one another.

Edens is a longterm holder and isn't planning to sell Uptown Park.
