FORT WORTH – TEXRail gained $499.39 million yesterday after the Fort Worth Transportation Authority and Federal Transit Administration signed an agreement in that amount to complete local and federal funding for the planned $1 billion, 27-mile commuter rail line.
Set to open in late 2018, TEXRail will extend from downtown Fort Worth, across northwest Tarrant County, through North Richland Hills and Grapevine, and into the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport’s Terminal B.
