The elementary school totals over 104,445 sf in a single-story building and will serve approximately 950 students. The middle school is a state of the art two-story building designed for a capacity of 1,000 students. It totals 110,050 sf. The two schools, located off Texas SH 359, are projected for completion for the 2017-18 school year.
Both building entrances will incorporate new security stations manned by district police officers to enhance school security and monitor day-to-day activities. At the middle school, along with the internal police station, the facility will have camera surveillance capability. | Laredo Morning Times
