TEMPLE – The Temple Economic Development Corporation announced that Buzzi Unicem USA will build its 34th cement distribution location in the country on a nine-acre tract in the Temple Industrial Park near the intersection of I-35 and Loop 363.
The new terminal will cost over $7 million and use at least 1,000 rail cars per year.
The city and Patriot Rail Corp. formed a subsidiary, Temple & Central Texas Railway, with an exclusive long-term license agreement that provides rail switching and other rail-related services to customers in the Temple Industrial Park.
Construction will begin immediately with completion set for later this year.
