Prognosis Good for TCU, UNT Medical School

Applications for the new MD school will be accepted starting in fall 2017. First students will come to campus in 2018 with an initial class of 60. A full enrollment of 240 is planned. Medical school students will be enrolled in both institutions. The school will share campuses with TCU and UNTHSC, according to an FAQ about the project.

UNTHSC officials said about $25 million from private donors has been pledged to the new medical school, while TCU has pledged $50 million from its endowment to support the plan.
