The 302,604-sf building was sold by Los Angeles-based Karlin Real Estate, which was represented by CBRE. JLL represented GM.
When GM announced the opening of the Innovation Center, officials said about 500 employees would be hired there. With the new acquisition, that number could grow. The company’s website currently shows 75 available jobs in Austin.
GM currently leases 320,000 sf nearby at 717 E. Parmer Ln. from Gladstone Commercial Corp.
