Apartments roll to Firewheel Town Center in Garland

GARLAND – Simon Property Group Inc. and Columbus Realty Partners Ltd. have begun the next phase of Firewheel Town Center at the northeast corner of the President George Bush Turnpike and SH 78 N.

The next phase of the project, named Parkside, will include 281 apartment units slated for completion in December 2013. The first units will be available for occupancy in September 2013.

The new units will be built next to the existing 312 apartment and townhouse rentals that opened July 2007. Monthly rents will range from $800 to $1,400 for ten floor plans. Units will range in size from 497 to 1,230 sf.

The mixed-use Main Street-style Firewheel Town Center opened in 2005 and is anchored by Dillard’s, Macy’s and AMC Theater. It has 1 million sf of retail, restaurant and entertainment tenants.
