Baker Nissan driving down the road in Jersey Village

JERSEY VILLAGE – Baker Nissan plans to relocate its north-side dealership at 19100 Northwest Hwy. in Jersey Village down the road to a new 80,000-sf facility at 19630 Northwest Fwy.

The new store will employ around 155 people, including 20 new employees. The location will include an expanded sales floor and a larger service shop with new lifts and fluid delivery systems.

Green elements of the new facility include Nissan Leaf charging stations, more energy-efficient HVAC units and lighting, and automatic faucets and hand dryers in all restrooms. The facility’s car wash will include a water recycling system, and the dealership will continue to recycle used oil and tires.

The new location is expected to open October 21, 2012.
