Young adult population makes Brazos Co. No. 1 in Texas

BRAZOS COUNTY – Brazos County has the highest percentage of young adults among 254 counties in Texas, according to an On Numbers analysis based on raw data from the 2010 federal census.

Of the 194,851 people in Brazos County, 72,506 — or 37.21 percent — are between 20 and 34 years old. That percentage ranks the young adult population in Brazos County first in the state and No. 11 in the nation.
