Mill Creek acquires Woodmoor in Austin

AUSTIN – Mill Creek Residential Trust LLC announced that it has acquired three apartment communities in Texas totaling 589 apartment homes in Houston and Austin.

In Austin, the company bought the 208 apartment homes in the Woodmoor complex, at 3505 South Lamar Blvd. Woodmoor offers studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments.

The recent transaction also features two complexes in Houston. The 162-unit La Tour Fontaine offers one- and two-bedroom apartments with an average size of 1,051 sf and a multi-level parking garage. The 219-unit The Place at Greenway offers one- and two-bedroom apartments with covered parking throughout.

In Texas, Mill Creek represents a total of 1,109 apartment homes and includes Victory Park and Courtyard at Knox in Dallas, Uptown River Oaks in Houston, and Barton Springs in Austin.
