DALLAS-FORT WORTH - In less than two years, Stockdale Investment Group Inc. has put $40 million into highly desired real estate in DFW, including retail properties in Preston Center, Knox-Henderson and Uptown Dallas
The company recently acquired Knox Promenade — a complex of six buildings on McKinney Ave., N. Central Expy. and Armstrong Ave — out of receivership. The property has 13 tenants, such as Knox Street Pub, Green Lotus Spa, Sushi on McKinney, Pie Five, and Potbelly’s.
The Knox property went from 40 percent to 100 percent leased in a year and was originally listed at $12.5 million
This year, Stockdale has made two other significant retail buys, including the historic Falk Fabrics building at 2633 McKinney Ave. in Uptown Dallas and 5840 W. Northwest Hwy. in Preston Center.
