Texas A&M International University’s degree plan enables registered nurses who hold either an associate’s degree in nursing or a nursing diploma to earn bachelor’s degrees.
Both the Texas Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association are calling for associate’s degree-holding nurses and diploma-holding nurses to earn a bachelor’s of science in nursing, according to a TAMIU press release.
