WICHITA FALLS – Century Ventures has purchased an additional 57,000 sf of Century Plaza stores bringing their total foothold to about 85,000 sf and complete ownership of the stores. The plaza is located on Maplewood Ave. just east of Sikes Senter.

A couple of restaurants and Breland Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab Clinic are a few of the businesses that will take up some of the space in what the real estate industry calls a "lifestyle center,” according to Mike Shallenberger, managing partner of Century Ventures.

Opa’s Schnitzel Haus will move into the old Oxford Street facility on the northwest corner of the complex and feature an outside seating area and beer garden.

A national franchise eatery, with which the group is negotiating, is expected to move into the space formerly occupied by Schlotzky’s.

In addition to new businesses moving in, the Goodwill store at the plaza is relocating to the old 52,000-sf Winn-Dixie store on the corner of Southwest Pkwy. and Fairway.
