WACO – Waco Independent School District plans to spend more than $5 million to add and renovate athletics facilities at Indian Spring Middle School.

Formerly the A.J. Moore Academy campus, Indian Spring Middle School is located at 500 N. University Parks Dr. The Indian Spring projects total $5.6 million.

The area across the street from Indian Spring Middle School is slated to be the site of new athletics facilities for the school.

The district plans to build a competition gym and a running track with combination football-soccer fields and make renovations to the existing locker rooms. Construction on the projects will begin in early November.
