ROANOKE – The initial phase of the 346-acre, master-planned, mixed-used Fairway Ranch development will break ground in fall 2012.

Wilbow Corporation is developing 278 acres of the project, while the Byron Nelson estate will hold on to the remaining 68 acres for possible use as a corporate campus. The property is bordered by TX 114 and Litsey Rd.

The first 77-acre phase of the project includes a 31-acre Northwest ISD elementary campus, three acres of neighborhood retail and a private school, and 43 acres of single-family homes. It will also include the first of three public parks, private open space and an amenity center.

Highland Homes and Darling Homes will build homes for the project. Price ranges for the homes are expected to range from approximately $300,000 up to $700,000.
