BELTON – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) was ranked No. 46 among the Regional Universities (West) category by U.S. News & World Report’s 2013 edition of America’s Best Colleges.
The university improved its ranking from 48 for the previous year. The university has been recognized as a tier-one ranking college since 2005, according to the news release.
This year’s ranks looked at more than 1,400 accredited four-year schools throughout the country, and based the result on a number of factors including peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving.
