U of H joins Rice on U.S. News rankings
HOUSTON – The University of Houston (UH) has made the top 200 on U.S. News & World Report’s 2013 national universities list for the first time, joining U.S. News veteran Rice University. Rice ranked No. 17, while UH came in at No. 184.
Rice also ranked No. 6 on the biomedical undergraduate engineering program list, No. 7 on the biomedical/bioengineering grad school list, No. 10 on the best value list and No. 17 on the high school counselor rankings.
UH also ranked No. 103 on the top public schools list and No. 167 on the high school counselor rankings. It ranked No. 3 on two online education lists, admissions selectivity and student services and technology. UH’s law school ranked No. 4 for intellectual property law and No. 8 for health care law.
Nine Texas universities made U.S. News’ national university rankings.
