TYLER – University of Texas at Tyler has recorded a 2.7 percent increase in enrollment for fall 2012 compared to fall 2011. Total headcount for this fall is 6,875 over the fall 2011 figure of 6,696.

The university experienced increases in new freshmen, transfers and graduate students.

Undergraduate enrollment experienced increases in all areas. Graduate enrollment experienced a 9 percent increase in returning students. New transfer students increased 10 percent.

More than 80 undergraduate and graduate degree programs are available at UT Tyler.
