AUSTIN – Local economist Angelos Angelou has revised the number of jobs he projects the Austin area will see by the end of the year — from 19,000 to 25,000.
Angelou attributes this gain in the number of jobs to the booming technology sector and other companies relocating to Austin.
Apple Inc., Seton HealthCare Family and General Motors Co. represent some companies in the middle of major expansion projects.
