MIDLAND - Stone Bridge Estates — luxury mobile home park with room for as many as 265 units — will open in east Midland in December 2012. Stone Bridge will be situated on a currently undeveloped 50-acre plot on North Fairgrounds Road.

The development will have three- and four-bedroom mobile homes that are meant to provide an affordable option to those in Midland County, according to Joy Fassauer with LubbockInvest.

A townhome development is in the works on Elm Ave. between Tyler and Carver streets. Weidner Apartment Homes has plans to construct a 290-unit complex near Wadley Ave. and Loop 250.

Fasken Land & Minerals plans to build a 364-unit apartment complex in northwest Midland, Pioneer Natural Resources has a 96-unit apartment complex in its development plans and a 210-unit complex will be constructed next to ClayDesta.
