EL PASO – Southwest Land Development Services is developing a 20-acre shopping center at Montana and Rich Beem Blvd., where a 14-screen Cinemark will be the anchor tenant. Construction should begin by end of 2012 with an opening by fall 2013.

The development will have about five restaurants and about 20,000 sf of retail space. It is part of the Hueco Club Estates Traditional Neighborhood subdivision. The Hueco Club subdivision will have 358 single-family and townhouse units, and 780 apartment units.

The subdivision is part of the Tierra Del Este development area, east of Joe Battle, which currently has 14,000 homes, including apartments, and will have more than 27,000 homes when completed by 2020.

The Cinemark theater is about a mile from where Carmike plans to build a 13-screen theater.
