Two BriarLake Plaza in Houston

HOUSTON – Behringer Harvard REIT I Inc. is set to launch construction on the 332,000-sf Two BriarLake Plaza on 1.5 acres at the corner of W. Sam Houston Pkwy. and Briar Forest Dr.

The Class A office building is scheduled for completion early 2014. It is 50 percent preleased to Samsung Engineering America Inc., which is taking the space for its North American headquarters.

Behringer Harvard REIT I owns the 502,410-sf One BriarLake Plaza, at 2000 W. Sam Houston Pkwy. S.

A deli, fitness center and conference center will be shared by both properties, and walkways will connect both buildings and facilitate the sharing of amenities.

When construction is completed, the BriarLake Plaza complex will comprise more than 830,000 rentable sf of office space.
