AUSTIN – The Austin Children’s Museum will break ground on September 25 on its new site at the Mueller development in East Austin.

The 40,000-sf facility across from Mueller Lake Park will be twice the size of its current building in downtown Austin.

The Austin Children’s Museum is more than halfway to its $17 million capital campaign goal to fund the land purchase and construction for the building set to open in late 2013.
