Lamar University sets record enrollment

BEAUMONT – Lamar University has set another enrollment record this semester with 14,675 students. The 2 percent growth over last fall includes an increase in freshmen from 1,402 in fall 2011 to 1,686 in fall 2012, a 5.9 percent bump in semester credit hours and more doctoral students, up from 262 to 344.
