AMARILLO – Another Chance House (ACH), one of Amarillo’s true success stories for homeless men, continues to expand. The non-profit provider announced a grant of $115,000 from the Meadows Foundation for a fourth Victory duplex on the property at 209 S. Jackson St.

The duplexes are made specifically to house returning service veterans. Ground was broken on the Victory duplex project in January and they were finished this summer. The original goal was to build seven duplexes.

The project began with a grant from the Brumley Foundation which enabled ACH to purchase land on adjacent Van Buren St. on which the duplexes are built.
