SAN ANTONIO – Skanska USA Building Inc. has been awarded an $88 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to complete the third phase of the Lackland Ambulatory Care Center project.

The third phase involves building a 301,252-sf, multistory facility at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

Expected to be complete on July 14, 2014, phase 3 will result in the development of the fourth building of the Lackland Ambulatory Care Center contract. Buildings 1, 2 and 3 are currently under construction.

This medical-treatment facility will have a primary care clinic and will house space for pediatrics, family health, urgent care, mental health, radiology and a vaccine health research lab.
