PinPoint, Thrive to build assisted-living community in Katy

KATY – PinPoint Commercial and Thrive Senior Living are set to build The Legacy at Falcon Point at the intersection of Roesner Rd. and Katy Gap.

Construction on the two-story, 104-bed assisted-living and memory care facility is expected to begin as early as December 2012.

The community will be designed to mimic a neighborhood layout with amenities such as restaurants, movie theaters, stores, spas, gyms and sports bars.

The Katy project is one of five assisted-living and memory care facilities the companies are building, with a total cost for the five projects set at more than $80 million. Two other projects are in Texas, including in the San Antonio suburb of Schertz and the Austin suburb of Cedar Park.
