BROOKSHIRE, WEST HOUSTON – Houston Executive Airport is at it again. The airport has begun construction on a 22,500-sf premier FBO (Fixed-base Operator) terminal building and an arrival canopy. Construction costs are estimated at $3.5 million for the terminal, according to state filings.

Increased traffic and high demand for additional hangar lease space prompted the airport to build two hangers in the last eight months bringing the airport’s hangar space to over 122,000 sf. The airport recently completed a 26,650-sf terminal, as reported July 2012.

The terminal building is expected to open in February 2013.
