AMARILLO – Sitel has pushed to 200 the number of local full-time employees it will hire by the end of the year. The company first announced in August it would bring 100 new jobs to the area, but has since increased that number to total 200.
The call center, located at 4945 Canyon Dr., already employs about 300 customer-service agents who take calls for a medical insurance provider.
The additional workers are needed to take incoming technical assistance calls from customers of a satellite TV provider that Sitel services.
