Energy Corridor complex lands first tenants
HOUSTON – Transwestern has released details on tenant leases for its 660,000-sf Westgate office complex. The 20.8-acre property will include three buildings. The first two are slated for completion in late 2013, with the third building estimated to wrap up in first quarter 2014, as reported September 2012.
U.K.-based Subsea 7 Inc. plans to occupy 100,000 sf of Building 1, with an option to take more, and Wood Group Mustang will occupy 340,000 sf in buildings 2 and 3. Both companies plan to expand their operations with the move and said the larger space could mean more jobs for their companies and the area.
Construction costs are estimated at $60 million, according to state filings.
