FORT HOOD – AMG Contractors and Satterfield & Pontikes Construction have been awarded a $38.5 million design-build contract to build the 156,048-sf Operations Readiness Training Complex.

The complex will include a one-story battalion headquarters (11,237 sf); a two-story officers’ quarters building (22,579 sf); and two four-story barracks (61,116 sf each).

The project includes the construction of four new buildings, which should be completed by summer 2014.
