Christus Health consolidates HQ to Irving

IRVING – Christus Health, who decided to consolidate their headquarters earlier this year is now ramping up hiring. Locally, the Christus Health headcount will skyrocket from 70 employees to more than 1,000 by second quarter 2013. Two job fairs have already been held to hire more than 600 employees.

Christus previously had four corporate offices, two in Houston and one each in San Antonio and Irving. The company is now renovating a 210,000-sf space at 919 Hidden Ridge Dr. in Las Colinas, formerly occupied by Verizon Communications. By moving to Irving, Christus estimates that $60 million will be saved over ten years in leasing expenses, travel costs and from increased productivity.

With 32 hospitals, Christus Health is the largest non-profit healthcare provider in Texas and the tenth-largest private healthcare provider in the nation. The company has annual revenue of about $5 billion and employs 30,000 in seven states and Mexico.
