PLANO, HURST, AND FORT WORTH - Houston-based Victory Healthcare has opened its first DFW-area surgical hospital in Plano. The company has also acquired Southwest Surgical Hospital Hurst and purchased land for what will be Victory Medical Center Fort Worth.

Plano — Victory Medical Center Plano, located at 2301 Marsh Ln., is renting 48,000 sf from California-based Health Care Properties Inc. under a 20-year lease agreement. The Plano property has 20 private in-patient suites.

Hurst — Southwest Surgical Hospital Hurst was acquired for $30 million and renamed Victory Medical Center Mid-Cities. Located at 1612 Hurst Town Center Dr., the center is 48,000 sf and includes four operating suites, two special procedure rooms and 20 private inpatient suites.

Fort Worth — Victory is under contract for four acres on W. Rosedale St. near Eighth St. for $8.5 million. The company plans to open the $70 million, 70,000-sf Victory Medical Center Fort Worth by 2014 on the property.
