HOUSTON – TMK IPSCO, the North American division of global energy pipe manufacturer OAO TMK, has opened its new 70,000-sf Research & Development Center located at 10120 Houston Oaks Dr.
The R&D facility includes a scanning electron microscope (SEM) lab, mechanical and collapse testing equipment, and a corrosion lab.
A new building will be constructed adjacent to the R&D center for 100 corporate employees and will become home to TMK IPSCO’s North American headquarters.
The company’s Texas manufacturing plants are located in Houston, Baytown, and Odessa.
