PECOS, REEVES COUNTY - Construction has begun on new workforce lodging located on the southwest side of Hwy. 285 and Cr. 116, south of I-20. The Pecos Lodge is expected to open with its first 200 beds by December, according to Brian Lash, chief executive of Target Logistics — the developer.
Two companies are already contracted to house their employees in the $7 million Pecos Lodge, which is capable of expanding to accommodate up to 450 beds.
Similar to other crew camps, Target Logistics offers its tenants luxury private bedrooms, catered meals, gym and recreation areas and 24-hour security.
