Lindsay Manufacturing breaks ground in Amarillo

AMARILLO – Lindsay Manufacturing has broken ground on a new 50,000-sf warehouse and distribution center in the CenterPort Business Park near Hwy. 60 and Folsom Rd.

The Amarillo Economic Development Corp. contributed land and $200,000 to make the site ready for construction as an incentive to help Prana Development Group build the structure. Additionally, Prana will spend about $2 million to build the new building.

The maker of agricultural irrigation center-pivot sprinklers will occupy almost half of the building and recruit companies to occupy the remaining space. The project is anticipated to be complete in March 2013.
