LAREDO – Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) has been ranked in the top 10 percent nationally of Master’s Universities, according to Washington Monthly Magazine for its 2012 College Rankings.

TAMIU’s ranking (41 out of 682 institutions) is based on the university’s contribution in three broad categories: Social Mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students); Research (producing cutting-edge scholarship and PhDs); and Service (encouraging students to give something back to their country).
