FRISCO - Exide Technologies, a producer and recycler of lead-acid batteries, plans to lay off 120 employees at a facility at 7471 S. Fifth St. The Georgia-based company said the job cuts will begin Nov. 20.
Exide plans to shut down the facility and sell 180 acres of land around the plant for $45 million.
