Wichita Falls Sept. home sales down, but up 2012
WICHITA FALLS – Existing home sales in September 2012 totaled 95, a decrease of 28 from the 123 sold in August. The total for the year is 1,018, up 15 from 1,003 in 2011, according to the Wichita Falls Association of Realtors.
The sales volume, $11,791,892, was down $2,210,993 from $14,002,825 in August. In September 2011, it was $13,395,555. The total for the year stands at $120,155,911, an increase of $5,617,605 from $114,538,309 a year ago.
The average sales price in September was $124,125, compared to $113,844 in August. There were 221 new listings and 931 total active residential listings. The average number of days on the market was 77.
