WICHITA FALLS – The Wichita Falls unemployment rate (not seasonally adjusted) fell to 5.9 percent in September from 6.6 in August 2012, according to the Texas Workforce Commission. In September 2011, the rate was 7.1 percent.

Texas’ seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 6.8 percent in September, down from 7.1 percent in August.
