SAN ANTONIO - Third quarter 2012 apartment market has continued a path of steady gains that has moved the market upward since the beginning of the year.

Occupancy rose slightly, gaining 0.32 percent during 3Q 2012.

Effective rents rose 2.2 percent to reach another area high of $0.95 psf. This was over a 5 percent increase for the year.

Absorption figures not only continue to be positive, but also averaging well over 1,500 units per quarter since the beginning of the year.
