ARLINGTON – The Rangers are renovating their stadium for the third consecutive off-season. This time, most of the upgrades will be behind home plate.

The team revealed specifics of the $12 million improvement and will encompass more than 32,000 sf on the ballpark’s Main Concourse and seating bowl areas.

The private club behind home plate, formerly known as the Cuervo Club, will be revamped and renamed the Capital One Club. A dining area will sit in the middle, with seating on either side. The expansion will add 1,000 sf to the club, making room for nearly 30 more permanent seats.

Team officials promise that work will be finished by opening day, April 5. When the project is finished, the Rangers will have spent more than $35 million on improvements in the past three off-seasons.
