Harker Heights joins the Club with new Sam’s

HARKER HEIGHTS – Sam’s Club will open a new 136,000-sf store in Harker Heights. Construction will begin in early 2013 at the corner of W. Central Texas Expy. and Memory Ln.

The membership-only retail wholesale club is tentatively set to open in late fall 2013, according to Kellie Duhr, the director of public affairs for Walmart.

Upon completion, Sam’s Club will create 175 local full- and part-time jobs. A hiring center will probably go up about four months before the store opens.
