DALLAS - Plaza of Americas’ owners have hired the designer of downtown’s new Klyde Warren Park to create a multimillion-dollar makeover of the old atrium — now covered by a little-used ice rink — into a new, lush park to attract tenants and visitors to the project.

The 32-year-old downtown Dallas development, located at 700 N. Pearl St., has more than 100,000-sf of retail space, and is almost 90 percent leased. M-M Properties and Invesco paid an estimated $100 million for the Plaza of the Americas.
