PFLUGERVILLE – Construction will begin soon on a 120,000-sf light industrial building at the 160-acre, mixed-use development The 130 Commerce Center.

Located at the southwest corner of SH 130 and Pecan St., 130 Commerce Center LLC plans to eventually construct a total of six 120,000-sf industrial tilt-wall buildings.

Preleasing is underway for space in the first of two 120,000-sf light industrial buildings planned for phase I of the project.

Renewable Resource Consultants LLC will also break ground this fall on a 6,000-sf office/flex building in which the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) will lease 2,000 sf in the building for its new offices. The building is expected to be complete in summer 2013.

EIEIO Inc. will construct a 40,000-sf building used for offices and a manufacturing/assembly plant to relocate its corporate headquarters from Austin to Pflugerville. The building, sited on five acres at 130 Commerce Center, totals a $4.5 million capital investment.

The development will begin with industrial and office/flex space, but retail is also planned for the center.
