AUSTIN – Barnett Auto Group will build a $12 million, 43,000-sf Volkswagen dealership in South Austin. The Onion Creek Volkswagen is slated for seven acres on the I-35 frontage road, just south of Slaughter Ln. and the Southpark Meadows shopping center.
The dealership will break ground late this year and is scheduled to open next summer. The Volkswagen dealership is expected to employ about 100 people locally.
The Onion Creek Volkswagen dealership marks the first dealership in Austin for Barnett Auto Group.
