HAYS COUNTY - While sales tax revenues and signs of consumer spending were up again for San Marcos, they were down in some other parts of Hays County, according to the State Comptroller’s Office.

Overall for Hays County, the increase was 2.75 percent with a net payment this October of $2,528,738.18.
