Overland doubles space at Port Commerce Crossing

LA PORTE – Overland Distribution has doubled its leased space at the facility from 100,000 sf to 206,368 sf at the Port Commerce Crossing Center, located at 1701 S. 16th St. The transaction keeps the logistics company in its current facility until 2017. The 412,000-sf industrial building is also leased to Ferguson Enterprises Inc.

National Property Holdings and ML Realty began construction on the 300-acre Port Commerce Crossing in 2006. Approximately 1.2 million sf of industrial space has been built so far, and the property could eventually support 3.3 million sf.

A 261,630-sf, rail-served speculative building is currently under construction and is set for a February 2013 delivery.
