TEMPLE - Don-Nan Pump & Supply will expand to Temple with a $4 million, 45,000-sf manufacturing, warehouse and distribution center.

The company will begin construction by the end of 2012, which will sit on an eight-acre tract at the Temple Economic Development Corporation’s (TEDC) Enterprise Park. The building is expected to be complete by summer 2013.

During the first year, the company plans to hire 12 or more local manufacturing workers, each with an annual salary of at least $45,000 plus benefits, including health insurance and a matching 401K program.

The Temple City Council approved an agreement with Don-Nan Pump & Supply for a property tax abatement program that is based on the company’s capital investment, average wage and a comprehensive benefits program for workers.

Don-Nan Pump & Supply is one of the four largest pump manufacturers in the world with international sales and locations in Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Texas and Wyoming. The company employs 340 nationwide.
